Um, Amazing!

I am just in awe over these beautiful solar lanterns from Allsop Home & Garden! Forget all of those cords and candles for regular lanterns...these take the cake, and they’re “green” as well.

How perfect would these be at an outdoor event like a baby shower, wedding or a simple backyard BBQ?

Eddie Ross goes ETSY

One of my favorite blog hosts Eddie Ross has is own beautiful ETSY store!
image

“After years of traveling the country, buying only the most beautiful things I love the most, I’m thrilled to announce our newest venture, Eddie Ross at Etsy, a unique collection of hand-picked, antique tabletop. Every piece in the collection I selected myself, then washed, ironed, or polished it by hand. Every piece carries with it detailed descriptions full of ideas. Every piece I would most certainly use in my own home. And every piece is $100 and under. We’ll be updating the store every Wednesday, so be sure to check back often! In the meantime, for more ideas on how to decorate and entertain both beautifully and affordably, visit our blog at http://www.eddieross.com. Thank you for stopping by!”

Everything has that warm and comforting feeling to it. It is a privilege to me that you could own something hand-picked by Eddie himself. Be sure to stop by his ETSY shop for gorgeous finds!

Handmade Weddings: A Guide for the Bride (and Groom)

ETSY has a great blog post on Handmade Wedding Ideas mand sources for on-line guidance, books, and alternatives to your typical “bridal show”

image

They also link you up with some amazing wedding item sellers on ETSY to ease your search. This shop really caught my eye. This alternative to a ring pillow is absolutely adorable, and you can keep it as a dish to hold your rings even after the big day. The bad part is...it’s SOLD OUT! I hope they can get more in their shop soon! The seller is located in my home town of Austin, Texas!

Manzanita Branches - Popular Trend

I have been seeing the Manzanita Branch centerpieces all over wedding mags, event photography and more. They are actually what I originally wanted to do for my wedding, but at the time, this trend was just emerging, and all of the fabulous resources out there now were not available.

REAL SIMPLE magazine has a great article on this trend, and links up some great websites that show you “how to” and where you can buy accesories for your centerpieces as well. This is a great alternative to a tall floral arrangement, and will add a sense of individuality to your event.
