Day 5 - What’s Your Favorite Easter Dish?

This was the question I posed to my friends on Twitter (I am @meganhobson) and Facebook. I was surprised at how many replies I got, and how many diverse responses came through.

I have compiled a list of everyones fav’s...here they are!
Fajitas (this was from a Texan of course, hah)
Chocolate Rabbits
Ham
Scalloped Potatoes
Deviled Eggs
Roast
The always popular (and my fav) Green Bean Casserole

Some more unusual items were:
Nut Roll
Paska
Hrutka
Kielbasa
(all served with horseradish)

Day 4 - Easter Baskets

I remember going downstairs Easter Sunday morning and seeing my Easter basket on the fireplace. My Mom paid such attention to detail and made sure that my Brother and I had our favorites in each basket. For me...it was always Peeps and Cadbury eggs. For Clint (my Brother) it was anything filled with peanut butter and Peeps.

I don’t wake up to Easter baskets anymore, but still love the joy they bring to a child’s face. I have seen so many different takes on Easter baskets this year, and boy have we come a long way from the days of plastic baskets and green Easter grass.
