Since we’re so close to Halloween time I figured I better get in a good ETSY find for all to love! I think this is just the best idea ever from Quick Kits for anyone to gift or receive for the spooky holiday..the Instant Jack O’lantern Kit!

Shower for Erica

I posted a little while back about the “Gift from the Sea” wedding of my good friend Erica. Well now her fabulous “Tie the Knot” themed bridal shower has made the pages of Snippet & Ink. Her older sister Maria of Ritzy Bee planned this lovely event as well. It was so simple, yet so elegant. You found the coolest little details in the most un-expected places. The party was not the only great part, the food was amazing as well!

ETSY Tuesday’s: Little Vale

Little Vale’s ETSY shop sells the most adorable cake toppers in the world! These handmade clay love birds can be customized with your initials and dyed the color of your choice. The best part is that they are a great keepsake from your special day that you can display for years to come.

What a unique and simple way top off that wedding cake it’s taken you so long to pick out!

“Clay Miniatures are made of air dry white clay or terracotta clay. Each one is individually hand sculpted and carved. They are then given a few coats of paint. Once dried, they are hand dyed with several coats of tea, coffee or dark paint - I will choose according to the item color. Clay Miniatures have been given at least 2 coats of varnish to seal and protect each piece. It is a painstaking yet fun process that takes 5 days to a week to complete.”
