Who doesn’t love the scent of lavender?
I do! These lavender-filled sachets can be used in a multitude of ways. The Lavender Road’s ETSY shop recommends giving them as a hostess gift, closet freshener or sleep inducer under your pillow! They also mention another benefit which I did not know about...moth repellent. How cool!
I almost always put a dryer sheet or two in my luggage when traveling to keep my clothes smelling nice and clean, but these sachets would be a great alternative!
“These Pretty Little Pillows are a beautiful way to add a lovely scent to any room of your home. They would make a wonderful gift for yourself or a friend.
Each set of Pretty Little Pillows is made from 100% linen. They are filled with lavender and a touch of flax seed. The flax seed makes them feel great...nice and squishy! They stack nicely and look great tossed in a bowl together. Each one measures 4 inches”
Check out The Lavender Road’s Shop for more great finds!

This fun paper flower project comes from the creative minds over at Project Wedding. I love the different ideas they have for using these blooms and without a doubt they will add a touch of whimsy to your event.
“We love things that can do double-duty, and these adorable paper flowers do just that and then some: they’re seating cards, centerpieces, and favors! These pretty blooms are perfect for a whimsical wedding, a bridal luncheon or shower, and can be made in any color.”
You will find out where to get your supplies, kits and more how to’s on their blog here. Get started!

Love this table setting Eddie Ross created for a “pretty in pink” themed event. All of his design ideas just fall right into place and get me so inspired to do my own beautiful tables.
Here’s what Eddie has to say about his table setting:
“Wedding receptions, as we all know, take so much planning and preparation that often times, they can end up feeling overdone. The centerpieces are too big, the tables too cluttered. For summer weddings especially, I prefer a more understated elegance with eclectic table settings and flowers that are simple but sophisticated. Here, stacked compotes with fresh cut roses add height to the table without overpowering it. One is vintage milk glass with a pretty lace edge; the other, sterling silver with a 1914-1939 engraving, a gift celebrating twenty-five years of marriage for two others long before.”
Check out the rest of the images from this beautiful table setting and the rest of what Eddie has to say about “pretty in pink” over on the Eddie Ross Blog.
Until then, here are a few sneak peeks to get you inspired!

There is just something about tight bunches of flowers, in a monochromatic pattern that always catches my eye. Whether you’re placing these bunches in small vases throughout the house, or placing a pomander on a banquet table, they can turn any room into an elegant, simple escape.
If you are having trouble picking flowers that go together, or cannot decide how to put together that store-bought arrangement, try buying one type of flower in similar or the same shades. Find your favorite vase, tea tin, coffee cup, or anything that you think would look great holding a flower and arrange away!
Here are similar arrangements spread out in different types of tea tins. As I mentioned above, let your imagination go wild with ideas to hold your beautiful flower arrangements.
And last...look how cute and rustic this tin can arrangement is. Here is the “how to” from ehow - How to make a tin can centerpiece for your wedding. Great idea for a bride or groom who works in advertising, or loves vintage inspired details.
