I thought it would be fun to put together a wedding themed around Saint Patrick’s Day. It would be a great way to celebrate your Irish Heritage and can be done in a very elegant and tasteful way. Enjoy these images I found and put together to show you just how beautiful touches of Ireland can be.

I have been seeing the Manzanita Branch centerpieces all over wedding mags, event photography and more. They are actually what I originally wanted to do for my wedding, but at the time, this trend was just emerging, and all of the fabulous resources out there now were not available.
REAL SIMPLE magazine has a great article on this trend, and links up some great websites that show you “how to” and where you can buy accesories for your centerpieces as well. This is a great alternative to a tall floral arrangement, and will add a sense of individuality to your event.

While I still am not a fan of baby’s breath as a filler in a bouquet or arrangement...on its own, it is simply beautiful. Putting a few lush bouquets of baby’s breath around your house for the holidays will look like a blanket of snow. For a wedding, it is a simple, classic flower that will not wreck your budget. It would be particularly beautiful for a winter wedding, but I think it would work for an event in any season.
Baby’s breath...it’s not just a filler anymore.

Continuing my Veterans Day blog posts, I decided to feature a few boards dedicated to a U.S. Navy themed wedding. I work for the Navy, and have great respect for the Men and Women I work with, every day.
A few touches of blue and yellow carry out this theme. A military wedding is almost always a formal wedding. The groom does not wear a boutonniere with his uniform, instead officers will wear their military decorations.
Check out The Knot’s Guide to military weddings, traditions, attire, and more…
