Christmas 2008
I hope everyone had a great Christmas like I did! Spending time with friends and family is always the best gift I could recieve, and I definitley had my fill this past week. Christmas eve started at my sister and brother-in-law’s place. We had some awesome Italian food, lots of wine, and Susie’s boyfriend David brought his guitar and we did a little kareoke all night long.
Christmas morning was wonderful. It was me and Tory’s 1st Christmas as newlywed’s. We had talked about keeping our gift limit low, knowing we’d both go over it. Well...he really did. He bought me a brand new Nikon D90 camera. He knows that I have a serious love for photography and have been dabbling in it for years. It was the best gift he has ever given me. I have to admit, I cried (yes I do get emotional people). Now I can really start taking some great photos and stop using my 8-year-old hand held sony sureshot (although you’ve been good to me bulldog—this is what my friends named it, because it was rather bulky). Christmas dinner was at Tory’s Grandmother’s house...we had the usual fare...ham, green bean casserole, etc. All was delicious…
A couple of days later my Birthday rolled around on the 27th. We went to a local brewery here called the Flying Dog Brewery. We were supposed to take a tour, but we got there too late, and decided to just drink. We hit the jackpot! You pay $5.00 for a glass, and you get 6 beer caps (or drink tickets). They fill your beer up half way for the tasting...so if you really think about it, that’s 6 beers for $5.00 bucks. I only tried one...it was called “Doggie Style,” seriously. After that we went to eat Mexican food at Cacique...YUM. I will never love any other food more than Mexican food!
Enjoy some photos from Christmas....

Wish my side of the family could have been here to celebrate with us! Miss you guys, and we’ll see you VERY soon...hopefully. Love you all!
Now, onto New Years on the slopes at Seven Springs. Oh yes!
